⚔️ Win Or Pay The Bill (Losers Buy The Next Round)
The Best Bars for Games & Activities
🎯 Lucky dart - Vasastan: The dartboard connects to a screen packed with games. Pick one, and aim accordingly. Around beer three, there’s a brief window where you’re actually good at this.
🏌️ Alba Golf - Östermalm: An indoor golf range turned finance-bro hangout. Beers clink, balls thump, and somewhere in the room, the laugh of someone whose bonus just landed echoes.
🦉 Ugglan bar and boule - Södermalm: An after-school club for adults and a true staple of Södermalm. Famous for round-robin ping-pong - but also for boule, pool and board games. (23+)
Honorable Mentions…
🎤 Moyagi - Norrmalm: Okay, there's nothing to win - it’s karaoke. Private rooms, Japanese interiors and a screen that takes your beer order so no one has to watch you get sloppy drunk.
🕹️ HEY STHLM - Vasastan: The pool hall RoQ hides 30+ Japanese arcade machines in a dungeon-like backroom called HEY STHLM.

SHHH... 3 Secret Bars in Stockholm REVEALED
🤐 You didn't hear it from us
🚪 Apropos - Vasastan: Two cramped floors, dim lighting, and what looks like someone’s grandmother’s antique collection set the scene for cocktails in this not-so-secret 1920s speakeasy.
🌸 Lucy's Flower Shop - Östermalm: Voted onto the World's 50 Best Bars list twice - and yet you'll walk right past the inconspicuous door. A retro 60s basement bar with a menu consisting of nine rotating drinks. Book ahead.
🐮 Oxsvansen - Norrmalm: Buried in a dull office building with no sign on the façade, Oxsvansen was built entirely on word of mouth. A quaint little boozer with a strong whiskey selection.
*Oxsvansen is the only bar on the list that doesn’t explicitly call itself a speakeasy - which somehow makes it feel even more like one.
👉 More Stuff Happening
Other Events
Loppis på SUS - Norrmalm: Drink in one hand, dead man's cardigan in the other. SUS's rooftop bar hosts a flea market. Every krona goes to Stadsmissionen, so buy that ugly lamp guilt-free, 23 Aug - 25 Aug, 15.00 - 20.00.
Tough Viking 2026 - Djurgården: Public humiliation dressed up as sport, in front of an audience that came to watch your grip give out. A fifteen-kilometer obstacle course with cargo nets, mud crawls, confined tunnels, rope climbs and more, 22 Aug, Register here
Vinterviken Sunset Session - Vintervikens Trädgård: An alternative pop and indie lineup better curated than your Spotify Discover Weekly. Set in a garden nobody built for a festival - it just happens to be gorgeous enough for one, 23 Aug - 25 Aug, 16.00 - 00:00.
🎯 The Spot

Summer Isn’t Over Yet at Mosebacketerrassen
Why Go? Squeeze out the last of Swedish summer on a terrace above Södermalm. Grab a beer, claim a bench (preferably by the front edge), and settle in... staying for the sunset is mandatory.
The Vibe: Super casual, beer-hall-style seating with Midsummer folk-fest vibes.
Good to Know… Weather-proof-ish: Covered outdoor seating and indoor tables available.
Weekend Game Plan
Friday: Blow off some steam and end the workweek with some old-school competitive drinking. Hit Ugglan, an after-school centre for adults. Then rush to Mosebacketerrassen before sunset and think: wow, the sun really does set earlier now.
Saturday: Can’t afford the flight to Korea? Head to Kungsträdgården for Korea Fest and grab a bibimbap. Then pay 60kr to dig through worn-out clothes and ’90s electronics at Eken Market in Slakthusområdet.
Sunday: Apparently one flea market wasn’t enough. Continue your hunt for other people’s abandoned belongings at SUS’s rooftop bar, then head to Vinterviken for an alternative pop concert at sunset. This might be one of the last warm evenings you can enjoy in a T-shirt.
